The Tin Lizzie 18 LS is a long arm quilting machine which has a
built in stitch regulator. A special benefit of this machine and
frame is that the light weight sewing head is very easy to move
as it glides smoothly on the steel rails. The reason they use
the steel rails is the low friction and strength. This proven
technology has been used for centuries in the railroad
business. You can not appreciate how easy the machine
moves until you try it yourself. The included flexible light is the
cool natural color for low eye strain and great visibility.
The 18" arm allows you to quilt a king sized quilt with a 12"
block. The large capacity industrial M style bobbin allows you
to make perfect stitches for twice as long as the standard L
style bobbin as it holds twice as much bobbin thread as a
regular bobbin.
The built in oil reservoir with included dip stick means less
frequent lubrication needed and longer machine life. The DC
industrial motor has full power and allows better stitch control.
When you stop moving the machine the motor quickly stops.
When you begin again the motor instantly starts with full power.
The hopping foot can be adjusted for the different thickness of
batting and can be used to follow a ruler or rigid template.
The frame shown is the Gracie frame and it is made with
beautiful, strong, 13 ply birch wood laminate. The frame can
be adjusted both in length and in height. You can comfortably
sit or stand while you quilt all day. It can be used from the
front or rear.
There is a rear table for your pantograph's or templates which
can be followed with the included laser. All the hardware is of
the best quality and the assembly tools are included. The set
up is easy, and to make it easier, we can do it for you. Even
the leaders, bungee cords and heavy duty clamps to attach
your quilt are included.
The frame can be shipped UPS and the rails are 1 1/4" conduit
available at your hardware store. This saves shipping charges
and makes the frame adjustable to any length of conduit you
desire.
You can see the optional simple computer for complete robotic
control is on the front of this machine, This robot is the Shirley
Stitcher II. For more information follow the link.
